At Her Intrepid Ladyship's Service

An interesting thing happened to me when I clicked on "ancient art". A few more clicks and I experienced the manifestation: proper use of language, primacy of the idea, the complete absence of pretense. A real thinker. A peer. A person who likes to think and puts thinking ahead of self-promotion, preferring self-examination instead. Fortunate world that it has such people in it!

Cosi fan tutti

Amazing. I remember that young woman with the fetching profile. What did Vonhiggins do when he saw her in the breakroom, wearing that perfect red jacket and looking like she just stepped off the screen of a Jean-Luc Godard film? Instead of saying hello to her, he pulls out the Dark Carmine color pencil he had in his coat pocket and starts drawing her profile on a paper napkin. A few weeks later she is nowhere to be found. Even now Vonhiggins curses himself for drawing her chin out of proportion. Can Vonhiggins be a bigger idiot?
